Awesome movie here from a South Australian team. Aurora has just picked up an award at Comic-Con in the Best Action/Adventure category.
Aurora proves that creativity doesn’t have to cost the earth. Produced for just $1800, this is a great example of what can be done on a shoestring.
One of my favourite ideas ever!
A great example of engaging consumers in a fun way, and bringing your brand to life (although I might have succumbed to the temptation of adding a brand logo to each picture). What do you think?
A new campaign by the NSW Government is a lot of fun. As reported on Mumbrella, the 3 minute video is a clever way of highlighting a serious issue.
However, I can’t help comparing its 115,000 views (at time of writing) with Dumb Ways To Die’s 48,000,000.
Creativity is often derivative. I can see the client’s hand in this. “We want the next Dumb Ways To Die”, instead of looking for something uniquely theirs.
Coke has always been a leader in unique marketing ideas, but this one is definitely worth sharing (sorry, I couldn’t help myself).
Right up there with one of my earlier favourites, the Coke Cricket Bat
Hyundai has pulled a commercial showing a man unsuccessfully attempting suicide in his car. Is this the most offensive and insensitive ad ever?
UPDATE: SORRY IF THE LINK GETS BROKEN. THE ORIGINAL LINK WAS PULLED FROM YOUTUBE.
Hyundai claims to have no knowledge of, nor to have approved any such commercial. However, brands must learn that such errors can’t be swept under the rug in today’s market.
